At Northcote Lodge we are fortunate to have a dedicated and conscientious staff who deliver the highest level of care.
The team is led by Diane Livingston, Qualified Registered Social Worker and Registered Nurse, assistant manager Jocelyn San Pedro and two deputy managers Emma Cameron and Wendy Robertson, all experienced qualified nurses.
We are fortunate to also have Teresa Pilkington a Registered Nurse who oversees quality assurance and staff training. A floor coordinator oversees the running of each floor in conjunction with leading the care staff.
We have a Link Nurse who visits twice weekly from the local GP Practice and also have visiting community nurses. All care staff are encouraged and assisted to achieve recognised qualifications and are registered with the Scottish Social Service Council.
Mandatory training is provided which includes COSHH, Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Adult Support and Protection and Fire Training as part of induction. A three month probationary period is arranged for new staff members and a meeting held at the end of the probationary period between the staff member and Manager to discuss suitability of employment here at Northcote Lodge. We pride ourselves on our thorough and rigorous recruitment and induction process.
